Detailed Test Report

For every candidate completing the Typing Test, you will be able to download or print a detailed test report.
A candidate's typing speed is given in Characters Per Minute (CPM) and Words Per Minute (WPM). A candidate's typing accuracy is given in percentage of correctly typed words to all shown words.
The CPM and accuracy of the candidate are compared to the norm group in order to get the percentile population score. If the candidate has a score of 70, he/she scored as well or better than 70 percent of the 1,000 who were part of our 2014 test survey. The candidate receives a percentile population score of CPM and accuracy for all four sub-tests.

On average, candidates with English as their first language perform better than candidates with English as their second language. Therefore the norm group is divided in two, you choose which norm group to compare the results to: English or Non-English.
