What is the Revelian Numerical Reasoning Test?

The numerical reasoning test assesses your ability to understand numerical relationships and concepts, and to reason using numbers.

The test consists of 25 questions within a time limit of 12 minutes.

The questions from this category are similar to the numerical questions in the Revelian Cognitive Ability Test.

These three types of numerical questions can be found in the numerical test:

Number series

These test questions will present you with a series of numbers with one number missing and you will need to determine the missing number.

Numerical word problems

Numerical Word Problems, simply called math word problems, are mathematical questions presented in a written format.

Number matrices

In number matrices, you are presented with a 3 x 3 matrix with numbers. You have to determine the number that is represented by a question mark.

The missing number is 64. The logic of the matrix is as follows:

Each number in the first column is raised to the power of the column number to get the corresponding number in that row.
In the first row, 2 raised to the power of 2 (column number) is 4, and 2 raised to the power of 3 is 8.
In the second row, 3 raised to the power of 2 is 9, and 3 raised to the power of 3 is 27.
Following this pattern, in the third row, 4 raised to the power of 2 is 16, and 4 raised to the power of 3 is 64. Thus, the missing number is 64.
